Faction PvP
Raise your faction flag (5 s) and players pledged to rival factions can attack you, and you them. Flagged, you get +50% Magic Find, and reputation is at stake: 50 for a kill, 100 lost when you die. The flag drops 3 minutes after your last fight.
The weekly War Ledger adds up every faction's kills, skirmishes and sacred hunts and crowns a winning faction.
Sacred creatures
Each faction town keeps a sacred creature in a den at the tip of its corner. Only players flagged for faction PvP can enter, and only rival factions can strike it. While it lives, its faction is blessed (+10% faction points, +5% Magic Find). If it falls, the faction loses the blessing and mourns (-10% points) until it returns, 8 hours later. Every board in the region posts it when one is attacked.
Dailies
- Rest for the Forgotten (the Crownless): The Forgotten March is crowded with the restless. Lay twelve of them down. Gently, if you can; firmly, if you can't.
- The King's Stones (the Crownless): Someone keeps moving the border stones on the Cliffroad. Walk to all five and set them right. Royally.
- Squatters and Smugglers (the Crownless): Six of the Compact's or the Undermarket's fighters are standing on royal land. Remove them from it.
- Wreckers' Wages (the Undermarket): Wreckers on our coast, working without a licence. Twelve of them. We'll invoice the rest.
- Toll Dues (the Undermarket): Check the five border stones in the Saltway Fens. If one moved, it moved our way. Note it down.
- Collections (the Undermarket): Six fighters of the Crown or the Lamps owe us money. Collect. Their purses will do.
- Relight the Wick Fields (the Compact): Clear twelve beasts out of the Wick Fields so the lamplighters can do their rounds without running.
- Stillmoor Lamps (the Compact): Walk the five border stones of Stillmoor and hang a lamp on each. The Crownless hate that.
- Mind the Border (the Compact): Six Crownless or Undermarket fighters are trampling the fields. Ask them to leave. Insist.
